By clicking on the Virtual Try On Button you can try any eyeglasses. You can even use your webcam or upload a picture. We also offer another way to see yourself in multiple eyeglasses. using the Try On View just upload a image, enter PD and Select your Pupils and see yourself in all the eyeglasses.

Yes this is not a problem. Specify "gift shipment" as a note during the ordering process. Your order will be packaged as a gift item without any extra charge.

We know how frustrating it can be to get the wrong Rx and hence we correct them for free up to 90 days after the original order ( Standard Distance Lenses Only) You will receive 50% discount on the total cost of installing the new lenses for any other lenses!

Photochromic lenses offer a 2-in-1 solution combining the features of clear lenses and prescription sunglasses. They provide 100% protection from harmful UVA and UVB radiation. Just like clear lenses photochromic lenses come in all frame styles, in different materials and designs.
It is widely accepted to protect our skin from the sun especially at seaside, because harmful UV rays can burn our skin and in the long run can even cause more serious diseases such as skin cancer. Whereas few people know that UV radiation is just as much harmful for our eyes and can compromise healthy eyesight leading to eye fatigue and even cataracts. So it is highly recommended to begin protecting your eyes from the sun as early as possible.

No. Please make sure it is a Eyeglasses Prescription. Contact Lenses prescription cannot be used to make prescription glasses.

Yes, easily. Please indicate during the ordering process, your prismatic correction. We charged only a small fee for prism lenses.
It refers from person to person and factors such as age and health can be counted in. Ideally, your prescription should not be more than two years old. Please refer to the table below that contains information on how often you should get your eyes tested:

  An eye exam is one of the simplest appointments to make and the process does not take more than 15 minutes. So, we highly recommend that if your prescription is more than 2 years old, then you must visit your optician to get a new one unless you are extremely confident that your prescription has not changed.
You can visit your local optometrist/Eye Doctor/Optician who is legally required you to give you your eyeglasses prescription after conducting an eye exam. Make sure to ask them a copy of your prescription when you visit them next, also ask them to write your pupillary distance.

Progressive and Bifocal

Beginning around age 40, your eyes can slowly lose the capacity to concentrate on close-by articles. Progressive is a amazing lens which incorporates multiple vision fields into a single lens without any clear distinction among the fields themselves. The power inside the lenses adjusts slowly from top to bottom from Distance, Intermediate(Computer) to Reading.

Re-Lensing

Send your own eyeglasses to: Global Eyeglasses 15 West Montauk Hwy #317 Hampton Bays, 11946 USA. We re-lens your glasses perfectly and conveniently. Order number and address can be found also in the order confirmation. We will return your glasses as an insured package.
Due to the additional processing involved using a customer's frame, we ask you allow up to 7 business days to process and ship (after we receive your frame). Occasionally, additional days are required, but it is not typical.
We will take every precaution possible to ensure your frames are maintained in the same condition that you sent them. If, in the rare instance that something should happen to your frame in the lens replacement process (e.g. frame scratches or breakage, loss during transit), we cannot be held responsible for the frame's value.

Shipping

All orders completed by the lab are sent to various dispatch centers where they are sorted and delivered to the appropriate USPS postal center. As it usually takes 2-3 business days for orders to be received by USPS, the tracking number provided for your order will show the tracking status as 'Electronic Shipping Info received' in the interim. However, once the package is delivered to the correct USPS postal center, the status will change to ‘Accepted at USPS Origin Sort facility’.

At GlobalEyeglasses.com we want to ensure that you receive your glasses quickly and in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged eyewear, please contact our Customer Care Center via Email: support@globaleyeglasses.com.

Monday-Friday order placed by 12:00pm CET will be shipped within 7 Business Days. Bifocals, Progressives, Transitions, Over-Powered Prescriptions, and Sunglass tint will take 4 additional business days for before shipping All Rimless orders will take an additional 5 business days before shipping. All Relensing Order will take an additional 7 business days to ship after we have received your frame. Additional transit time depends on the shipping method selected

  • Delivery to any address in the United Kingdom is $9.95
  • Delivery anywhere else is $29.95
This is a flat shipping rate, quantity of eyeglasses does not effect the shipping price
